4th Annual “Speak Up, Speak Out”: Believe Limited Empowers Cystinosis Community Through Bespoke Workshop

Believe Limited was honored to produce the 4th annual Speak Up, Speak Out: Cystinosis and Me!, a spoken-word self-advocacy workshop that transformed young people's patient stories into powerful creative expression and measurable community impact. Speak Up, Speak Out is presented by Amgen, in partnership with Believe Limited and the Cystinosis Research Network.

Creative Expression DriveS Authentic Engagement

Speak Up, Speak Out uses storytelling, performance art, and creative writing to help young people with cystinosis develop powerful self-advocacy skills while creating compelling content for sponsors. The July workshop in Grand Rapids culminated in a live performance during CRN's Family Conference—showcasing authentic patient voices and generating genuine emotional connections between sponsors and the cystinosis community.
