From BuzzFeed to Believe

Tara spent over ten years as a creative force at BuzzFeed Studio, writing and directing hundreds of branded campaigns for major global brands. Her work earned a Best in Show Advertising Award and Webby Award recognition for The Ultimate Dog ASMR. Her debut short film MATCH DOT MOM won Best Director at Black Magic Collective Film Festival and reached finalist status in the competitive ScreenCraft Short Film Fund.

As a Ryan Murphy HALF Directing Initiative fellow and Alliance of Women Directors member, Tara champions underrepresented voices in media—a perfect match for Believe Limited's mission. Currently developing rom-com DISCO BALL DREAMS (Hollyshorts Screenplay Competition quarterfinalist), she specializes in comedic stories celebrating queer experiences.
