Manga-inspired and anime-inspired art meets the truth of living with IgA nephropathy: profound stories celebrating resilience, identity, community, hope, and personal agency. Produced by Believe in partnership with Vera Therapeutics, IgANime.com is a hub for the IgAN kidney disease community to engage with custom, artist-created manga-inspired art honoring the IgAN journey.

The site launched May 14th, 2026, on IgAN Awareness Day, with the debut of The IgANimator™, a custom-built avatar generator that takes answers to questions posed to IgAN community members and using a proprietary algorithm, produces a custom manga-inspired avatar based on those answers.
