Director/producer

Tara Parian is a writer, producer, and director who grew up in the woods of New Hampshire before finding her way to Los Angeles. 

Prior to joining Believe Limited, Tara spent over a decade as a key creative force on BuzzFeed Studios’ Branded Content Team, crafting hundreds of videos for global brands and earning a Best in Show Advertising Award and Webby Award recognition. She holds an MFA in Film Producing from the City College of New York, where her thesis documentary was an Official Selection at Cannes. 

Her most recent film Match Dot Mom won her a Best Director award on the film festival circuit. As a fellow of the Ryan Murphy Directing Initiative, Tara is passionate about telling inclusive, heartfelt stories that celebrate underrepresented voices.  You can check out more work from Tara at www.taraparian.com.
