Dismissed Rare Disease Documentary Selected for Chicago Women’s Film Festival
We’re excited to share that Dismissed has been officially selected for its first film festival — the Chicago Women’s Film Festival — and is in competition for Best Feature Documentary.
This is a meaningful moment for our team. Dismissed was created to shine a light on the real experiences of women with bleeding disorders, that too often have been overlooked, misdiagnosed, or minimized. To have the film recognized by a festival that centers women’s voices feels like exactly the right place for its festival journey to begin.
At Believe Limited, we believe storytelling can move conversations forward — and this recognition is an early sign that these stories are landing where they need to.
Most importantly, we want to thank the women in the film. Your honesty, vulnerability, and courage are the heart of Dismissed. Thank you for trusting us with your stories and for speaking up so others may feel seen, heard, and believed.
This milestone also belongs to the many people who helped bring the film to life. Huge thanks to our crew and creative collaborators who poured their talent and care into this project, and to Sanofi for their contribution and support in making this film possible.
We’ll share screening details as soon as they’re available. In the meantime, you can learn more about the film and follow along as its journey continues.
