BloodStream Media Launches “The Lung Lab” Podcast with OSIC

BloodStream Media has launched The Lung Lab, a new podcast developed in collaboration with the Open Source Imaging Consortium, focused on advancing the understanding of rare and progressive lung diseases.

Hosted by Elizabeth Estes, the series brings together clinicians, researchers, and technologists working at the intersection of imaging, data, and disease. Each episode explores the systemic challenges that continue to limit progress in lung disease research, including inconsistent measurement standards, fragmented datasets, and barriers to early detection.

The podcast also highlights emerging innovations aimed at addressing these challenges, with discussions centered on how improved imaging, data collaboration, and standardization can help redefine how lung diseases are identified, monitored, and treated.

The Lung Lab covers a range of conditions, including interstitial lung disease (ILD), bronchiectasis, and interstitial lung abnormalities, with a focus on both the scientific advancements and the patient impact behind this work.

This launch reflects BloodStream Media’s continued expansion into new disease areas and its commitment to producing content that translates complex medical topics into accessible, expert-driven conversations.
