Barth Syndrome Families Share Stories At FDA Hearing With Help From Believe Limited

This fall, we teamed up with the Barth Syndrome Foundation (BSF) to create a series of impactful patient testimonial videos, supported by Stealth BioTherapeutics. These videos aimed to raise awareness about Barth syndrome, an ultra-rare genetic disorder, while encouraging donations to support ongoing research and advocacy efforts.

On October 10, 2024, families affected by Barth syndrome gathered in Washington, D.C. to share their personal stories with the FDA, emphasizing the critical need for elamipretide, a potential first-of-its-kind therapy for this life-threatening condition. Their stories highlighted the real-world impact of living with Barth syndrome and the hope that new treatments could bring.
