Amy is a producer, writer, and rare disease patient advocate. With a long history advocating for rare diseases, she worked with the Colorado bleeding disorder community for over a decade, first at The Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center at the University of Colorado and then as executive director of the Colorado Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation. She holds a Master’s in Non-Profit Management and an undergraduate degree in music theatre. 

Her work includes field producing for Believe's documentary films, The Science Fair, and the program development for Believe's live events, including Speak up, Speak Out. She is the co-host of The BloodStream Podcast and Ask the Expert.

She is currently working on her first novel and is represented by CAA. She lives in Los Angeles.
