Jonathan Hill was a typical kid with a love for Dungeons and Dragons and a thirst for adventure in the 1980s. When the HIV/AIDS epidemic hit, he was infected with the virus through tainted medicine. With the help of his friends, Jonathan was able to escape into D&D campaigns in fantastical worlds where he learned the valuable skills to survive what was happening in reality. Jonathan's journey is about choosing life, choosing light over dark, and ultimately, learning how to advocate for oneself and for others through sharing your own experiences. Throughout the course of the podcast, we'll be talking to some really fantastic people like legendary D&D illustrator Larry Elmore and the Creator and Dungeon Master of Dimension 20, Brennan Lee Mulligan, about how Dungeons & Dragons helped shape their lives, and in some cases, saved their lives.
